The Chinese bismuth market remained sluggish with limited purchasing activities during February and the mainstream prices for bismuth ingots continued to drop sharply. Because of the Spring Festival holidays, the week before and after the public holidays were really quiet with almost no transactions within the Chinese market. Generally most consumers held back from purchasing and wanted to see how the market went after the Spring Festival.
