The Chinese section steel market showed no obvious changes during February, and prices witnessed a flat trend. Traders and buyers started to leave the market in the middle of February due to the Spring Festival holiday, and the market transactions in the later half of the month almost ground to a halt. Downstream demand for section steel will struggle to release significantly in March in the absence of any firm support from the construction industries. Therefore, insiders believe section steel prices will decrease to some extent next month.
