Chinese stainless scrap market remained quiet this month with prices witnessing a flat trend. Though the price for the raw material - nickel fluctuated all the time, the upward and downward price trend was gentle. The Spring Festival is coming and most market participants will have a long holiday for 1 to 2 weeks in February. Traders are unlikely to adjust their offers before and right after the Chinese Lunar New Year. Therefore, insiders believe stainless scrap prices will be unchanged as a whole next month.
