The stainless steel market did not make progress in the first month of 2015, with prices for most products unchanged and some declining. The faltering price of the raw material - nickel cathode failed to supply support to the stainless steel market. Most stainless pipe and bar producers had stopped production due to the soft demand and the approach of the Spring Festival. Most participants will take a 7-10 days’ holiday for the festival and resume the work after February 24, so insiders predict that the stainless steel market is hopeless to improve in February.
