LME nickel price went up at the beginning of December and then kept falling for the rest of the month. Chinese domestic market followed the trend and prices dropped sharply. Meanwhile, nickel demand was weak, and rare deals were concluded on the market. Ferronickel price decreased slightly while nickel ore price moved to the opposite way.
