The spot indium ingot 99.99%min market saw limited purchasing activity in December, with mainstream prices for the material dropping by RMB1,275/kg (USD202/kg) to RMB3,600-3,800/kg (USD579-611/kg). Most indium ingot suppliers were still holding healthy inventories in hand due to slow purchasing activity within the investment market. End users also tended to watch the market, waiting for prices to drop further. Germanium metal 99.99%min prices were unchanged at RMB11,900-12,300/kg (USD1,913-1,978/kg) during December.
