Leading electrical steel producers including Baosteel and WISCO continued to raise ex-works prices for grain oriented electrical steel during this month, driving up market prices for grain oriented electrical steel to a large extent. Prices for grain oriented electrical steel have increased by nearly RMB3,000/t (USD482/t) in recent two months and they started to show signs of stabilizing at the end of this month. In the meantime, non-grain oriented electrical steel market was still quiet with prices demonstrating no changes. Insiders believe electrical steel prices will be stable as a whole next January
