Titanium ilmenite market didn’t recover after the National Day, and the stocks pressure of domestic producers increased, with titanium ilmenite and high titanium slag prices slipping further. While after titanium sponge producers pushed price up at the end of September, deals in titanium sponge market increased after the National Day, and the price moved up further. However, the downstream titanium product producers were relative cautious, keeping price stable given the low demand. At the same time, domestic ferrotitanium 70%min producers also pushed prices up during the mid-October, but the price of ferrotitanium30%min was stable.
Demand for ferrotitanium was still low during October, and deals in spot market were low due to enough inventories of end-users. The price of Russia and India ferrotitanium 70%min was downward.
