The price of HGI coil in China’s leading markets recorded a downward trend this month, influenced by the weakening demand from downstream consumers. Major steel mills lowered their ex-works prices of HGI coil for December production as prices for raw materials such as iron ore fine continued to fall during the month. Participants still lacked confidence in the market outlook and insiders predict that the price of HGI coil is likely to decline further in December.
