PrNd oxide market has kept inactive over the past ten months of this year. Except for in March and April, the prices have continued to drop. Rare earth separation plants (“separations plant” for short) complained for their thin margins and most of them ran at less than 50% of operation rate. Some separation plants intended to cease production to watch the market. It is predicted that PrNd oxide market will continue to witness slow buying activities and dropping prices in November and December as separations plants have to finish the mandatory plan and the illegal products are abundant in the spot market.
