The domestic rare earth market remained inactive and saw slow buying activities in October. Downstream markets kept flat, and purchasers continued to delay making purchases. Impacted by the storage, the markets for dysprosium oxide and terbium oxide witnessed increasing inquiries and prices. But the demand for other products remains weak. The rare earth export market showed flat tendencies in October. The combination of abundant stocks of importers and the sliding prices for rare earth in domestic market resulted in weak demand in the export market. It is predicted that the entire rare earth market will continue to be inactive in November.
