Unlike September, during which the price of Chinese bismuth metal 99.99%min increased unceasingly, the mainstream prices of the material began to decrease sharply due to the increased supply on the spot market in October. The demand from downstream market was relatively stable but they put off the purchasing with stocks in hand. The stockpiling by certain exchanges continued, but the abundant supply and seller’s eagerness to withdraw money weighed down the price of bismuth 99.99%min largely. Consequently, the prices of bismuth oxide and the export price of bismuth ingot also decreased.
