Coupled with the slowdown in economy in China, the CRC market ran inactively in October, which is called the traditional peak season for steel consumption. Prices in some regions continued to decrease, but the mark-down was narrower compared with that in September. Affected by the weakened support from production cost, major steel mills lowered ex-works prices for November production. Taking all factors into consideration, insiders predict that the market price of CRC can hardly go up in November.
