Over the course of this month, prices for HRC in China’s major cities increased slightly in general, but the high level in the middle of the month failed to be maintained. In raw materials market, prices for iron ore climbed up notably at the beginning of the month, but then turned to decrease as more and more mills began overhaul for production lines and blast furnaces and placed fewer orders for raw materials. In November, temperature in North China will be lower but the demand for HRC will not be influenced temporarily. Therefore, Chinese HRC prices are likely to be stable in the short run.
