Prices of battery grade lithium carbonate inched up slightly during September, while other lithium product prices remained unchanged. Although demand from downstream industry had increased modestly, many producers were only resuming production at the same time, resulting in an increase in supply, eventually leading to stable prices all month. However, according to most participants, downstream demand didn’t reach expectations and market performance was still unfavorable.
