The CRC market failed to see any improvements in September, traditionally the peak season for steel consumption, as production costs were reduced further during the month, while demand from downstream industries showed no signs of releasing. Participants weren’t optimistic about the market outlook , preferring to sit back and watch developments unfold. Insiders predict that it is unlikely the CRC price will rebound in October.
