Zinc powder is mainly used in the metallurgical, chemical, pharmaceutical, battery and coating chemical industries with the latter consuming the most. The zinc content accounts for 40-70% of the overall weight of zinc-rich coatings in the cold galvanizing industry and such coatings are widely used for surface embalming of metallic materials such as ships, containers, chemical and hydraulic engineering projects.
