In September, Chinese tungsten products’ prices decreased further. As demand from both home and abroad remained sluggish, downstream plants ran low rates of capacity. Some suppliers faced great capital pressures, so they lowered their offers further to promote sales. At the same time, some consumers remained out of the market and were not in hurry to place orders. It is predicted that the tungsten market will remain quiet.
