On the one hand, copper rod projects feature with small investment and high production value compared with other copper processing projects . In addition, enterprises are able to improve output value rapidly and achieve large loan amount from banks, which is favorable for financing . What’s more, electric wire and cables are entitled as “nerve and blood” of national economy, and average growth rates of electric wire and cables in China remained at 10-20% in the past few years, so the demand for copper rod continued to increase . The total capacity of low-oxygen copper rod in China had reached 7 . 58 million tons by the end of June, 2014, up by 19% compared with 6 . 43 million tons at the end of 2013.
