Chinese bismuth ingot prices increased sharply in July. However, real demand in the domestic and overseas markets saw no improvement, and the continuous stockpiling in certain exchanges in China was one of the major factors that pushed prices up. Most overseas market participants were on their summer vacation in July and the Chinese bismuth ingot export market experienced thin trading. Nevertheless, export offers increased following the sharp price rise in the domestic market.
