The Chinese tantalum and niobium market witnessed increasing prices in June. As tantalum and niobium concentrate market remained strong and prices kept increasing, domestic tantalum and niobium smelters lifted up their offers slightly due to increasing production cost. However, end users’ demand remained sluggish and delayed purchasing. Summer holidays were coming and foreign consumers left the market for the holiday. In late June, tantalum and niobium export market was quiet.
