The manganese alloy markets saw different price trends this month with silicomanganese 65/17 prices rising slightly while ferromanganese prices remained static. Even though some southern provinces implemented wet season electricity prices, producers still lacked interest in resuming production due to the poor price levels. As a result, operating rates did not move up significantly.
