The Chinese cadmium market continued the slow movement after the Spring Festival holiday in April with weak demand and hand to mouth purchasing style from downstream users. Therefore, after the third week of the month, the prices for cadmium ingot 99.99%min and cadmium ingot 99.99%min decreased by RMB600/t (USD96.8/t) respectively to RMB14,600-15,100/t (USD2,355-2,435/t) and RMB16,100/t (USD2,597/t) ex works. Price for cadmium oxide reduced by around RMB1,000/t (USD161/t) to about RMB18,500/t (USD2,984/t) ex works.
