The antimony market continued to be slow in May, but the prices for antimony ingot and concentrates kept firm. Demand from downstream industries was weak, so buying activities for both antimony concentrates and ingot were sporadic. Consumers of antimony trioxide make purchase from hand to mouth, so the price for antimony trioxide in domestic decreased. In antimony export market, due to the tension relationship between China and Vietnam, it is hard for overseas buyers to get smuggled antimony ingot, so legal exporters got more inquiries, so they raised the export offer for antimony ingot, but antimony trioxide export market saw price decrease owing to weak demand.
