In May, Chinese tungsten market showed flat tendencies. Limited by production cost, most tungsten concentrate suppliers held their offers stable and refused to sell the material at low prices. However, APT and tungsten carbide markets continued to see inactive buying activities and end users only rebuilt stocks from hand to mouth. Insiders thought prices hit the bottom and predicted that tungsten market will pick up in middle June as consumers return to the market.
