During this month, Chinese steel plate prices decreased slightly in prevailing cities because of weak downstream demand and lower production cost. In raw materials market, iron ore and steel billet prices kept moving down. Steel plate traders were not optimistic about the coming market and most of them just operated with lower inventories. Therefore, insiders predict stable prices in the coming month.
