During this month, HRC prices increased slightly in East and South China. Though the markup was only RMB10-20/t, the market inventory decreased significantly in the given period. Traders found it harder to get loans from banks, so they ordered less from mills. However, the high temperature in June may weaken demand from construction projects and processing mills. Therefore, Chinese HRC prices are likely to be stable in the coming month.
