Prices for lithium carbonate remained stable in April. Producers raised their offers on lithium carbonate slightly, but transaction prices showed no change, due to the soft demand. Moreover, demand for industrial grade lithium carbonate was also rather weak, as consumers expected prices to decline slightly following the resumption of production in Qinghai. Generally speaking, downstream industries are not faring well this year and demand for materials has also been depressed.
