European cobalt metal price kept moving up, while the prices of cobalt in China and North America were relatively stable. Chinese consumers were unwilling to make purchase, so the market was very quiet. As the prices of cobalt concentrate rose sharply, Chinese consumers refused to buy materials and the supply of cobalt raw materials was in tightness. Producers of cobalt products were reluctant to sell, holding wait-and-see attitude towards the future market.
