Chinese indium suppliers were holding back from selling all through March, and the stock volume on Fanya Exchange continued to increase sharply, making the supply tight in the spot market. Indium prices saw further increases. By the end of March, a few producers were in a hurry to sell materials due to financial pressures, and the tight supply eased. Thus indium prices fell back slightly. However, indium market participants still held optimistic views about the future market and were actively replenishing by that time. It was expected that indium prices would stop declining any further in the near future.
