The cadmium ingot market saw few deals after the Spring Festival holiday (Jan. 30th – Feb. 6th). As both buyers and sellers just came back from the long holiday and held watchful attitude toward the future market. Suppliers’ stock kept increasing, and the capital turnover pressure became obvious, so they started to lower their prices to attract orders. Till the end of the month, the prices for cadmium ingot 99.99%min and 99.995%min respectively declined by RMB300/t (USD48/t) to RMB15,700-16,200/t (USD2,532-2,613/t) and RMB16,700/t (USD2,694/t) ex works, and the price for cadmium oxide dropped by RMB500/t (USD81/t) to RMB19,500/t (USD3,305/t) accordingly.
