The whole market of zirconium kept sluggish in February. Most participants were in holiday of Spring Festival in the first part of this month and just came back from late February. So the output of zirconium productions was reduced greatly. One large Australian supplier of zircon sand declared to increase the price in late February, up by USD50/t from March, but most Chinese participants were pessimistic about higher prices due to slow demand.
