During the month, prices for steel plate decreased in some regions. After the Spring Festival holiday at the beginning of the month, downstream demand for steel plate did not rebound as expected. Though the market inventory did not increase significantly, traders still felt heavy pressure from tight capital flow and sales. Now the market is running steadily and further demand will be released in the coming month. Therefore, insiders think the Chinese steel plate price is likely to increase in the coming month.
