Prices of non-grain oriented electrical steel showed an upward trend this month supported by the low market inventory, while those of grain-oriented electrical steel remained unchanged as downstream demand was not strong. Market prices of electrical steel began to show signs of decreasing at the end of this month and the demand is likely to keep insufficient next month. Therefore, insiders believe that electrical steel prices will go down in March.
