The mainstream prices for cadmium ingot 99.99%min remained stable at RMB16,000-16,500/t (USD2,645-2,727/t) throughout January as most customers purchased from hand to mouth preparing to leave for the Spring Festival holiday (30th January to 7th February). Right until the end of the month, the cadmium market continued to remain quiet with few deals seen in spot market.
The price for cadmium ingot 99.995%min was largely stable at RMB17,000/t ex works (USD2,810/t) in January and cadmium oxide closing price hovered at RMB20,000/t (USD3,305/t) ex works with slow movement through the whole month.
