With zirconium market remaining subdued and lackluster in January, producers started to enjoy the Spring Festival holiday from the middle of the month, resulting in significant decline of the output of zirconium products. Some zircon sand suppliers sold at lower prices to get capitals back. Rates of Hainan zircon sand 65%min dropped by RMB100/t and those of other zircon products stayed in low level.
