Within this month, Chinese HRC prices witnessed a decreasing trend in prevailing cities because of the weak demand and tight capital flow before the holiday. However, traders controlled stocks to some extent to reduce risks, which led to a low inventory in general. At the same time, major steel mills stabilized list prices for February production, offering some support to the market price. Therefore, insiders predict a slight price increase in the second half of February after the Spring Festival holiday.
