This month, Chinese manganese alloys market moved steadily but slowly with the mainstream price unchanged. In December, steel mills’ purchase prices generally decreased by about RMB50/t compared with those of November. In international market, the export volume of silicomanganese and ferromanganese was much smaller than the imported volume from other foreign countries, because Chinese price was not competitive due to high export tax.
