Downstream demand remained soft in December. The spot market remained quiet with few transactions being witnessed throughout the month. As output of cobalt sulfate in Qinghai declined and some producers in Xinjiang stop producing cobalt sulfate, resulting in a low level of stocks caused prices to rise slightly in the mid-December. Prices of lithium products remained stable until the end of December, but demand is soft. Market keeps in weak state.
