Prices of CRC in Chinese leading markets witnessed a continuously downward trend this month, dragged by unreleased demand from downstream consumers and weakened support from production cost. Most steel mills tried to increase ex-works prices of CRC for next January production because of great losses. Traders will usually hike quotations before the long holiday for the Spring Festival in China. Insiders deem the CRC price will move up in the following month.
