Prices of wire rod and rebar in most domestic markets kept an upward trend in November supported by the higher production cost and the positive expectation on the Third Plenary Session of 18th Central Committee. However, the demand from end users did not release much in the traditional slow season, and it is likely to be weaker in December when the operation of most construction projects is slower in winter. Therefore, insiders predict that prices of wire rod and rebar will go down in the last month of 2013.
