After the China National Day holiday (1-7th October), the price of cadmium ingot 99.99%min continued the upward tend of September, rose by another RMB200/t (USD33/t) to RMB16,200-16,700/t (USD2,656-2,738/t), but there were thin deals in the following weeks and the price generally kept stable in the following three weeks of the month with customers purchasing from hand to mouth and slow movement in spot market.
The price of cadmium oxide generally maintained steady at RMB20,000/t (USD3,279/t), and the market was inactive and buyers bought on need basis.
