Chinese silicon metal prices rose further in October, especially just after the National Day holiday (October 1st to 7th). Chinese silicon metal smelters raised offers continuously and some smelters began to hold back from selling materials. The rising speed of silicon metal prices slowed down in mid-October and the prices turned stable in late October. Chinese silicon metal export market was active in October. The deals in the spot market increased and the export market also saw more orders for the procurement in H1 next year.
