Chinese steel plate prices fell continuously in most leading markets during this month like Shanghai and Guangzhou. The average price for Q235B 20mm in Chinese key cities went down by RMB61/t month on month from RMB3,323/t (VAT included) to RMB3,462/t (VAT included), and the markdown narrowed compared with that of RMB174/t in September. Considering the unreleased downstream demand, insiders deem that the market is hard to make progress in November.
