Prices of stainless scrap went through a spiral upward trend this month because of the price rise of nickel. Nevertheless, most traders were still not confident of the coming market and they were inactive in supplementing inventories, with a wait-and-see attitude. Seeing the weather will get colder and colder in the coming November and the demand from downstream industries is hard to release, insiders deem the price is unlikely to go up next month.
