Prices of CRC in Chinese leading markets generally saw a downward trend in the so-called Golden September, which was dragged by the weak demand from downstream buyers and softened support from production cost. In view of the fact that major steel mills in China except Baosteel did not increase list prices of CRC for October production, it was hard for the market price to move up. Insiders deem the CRC market is unlikely to make progress in the following month.
