BEIJING (Asian Metal) 27 Sep 13 – China is rich in kinds of nonferrous metal resources
. The proven reserve of tungsten, tin, molybdenum and antimony ranked first respectively in the world in 2012 . The proven reserve of lead and zinc ranked second respectively in the world . Meanwhile, the reserve of copper, bauxite, nickel ranked sixth, eighth and ninth respectively in the world . However, with the current mining production of the nonferrous metals and the demand from Chinese smelters, China still has to import a large amount of nonferrous metal minerals to make up the shortfall of raw materials.
