Rare earth market still saw few deals in August. However, suppliers held rare earth prices firm and kept watching the market as it was said that Chinese government would release storage policy in August or September along with rare earth ore supply was tight as Chinese government cracks down illegal mining. Consumers delayed placing large orders and made hand-to-mouth purchases further.
