Prices of non-grain oriented electrical steel witnessed an upward trend this month with the support of higher ex-works prices as well as the low market inventory. While, the demand from downstream industries remained insufficient, and prices of grain oriented electrical steel decreased slightly during this period. September is the traditional peak season for downstream home appliance industry and the market of electrical steel is possible to improve accordingly. Therefore, insiders foresee a higher market price next month.
