Prices of stainless scrap went down slightly this month due to the poor market performance as well as the price decline of the raw material-nickel. Besides, the demand from downstream industries remained slim due to insufficient orders for finished stainless steel products and the high temperature. Not being confident of the coming market, traders were cautious of supplementing inventories, restraining the price from decreasing sharply. Insiders deem the price is likely to go down again in the coming month.
